This is a full-time remote role for an Agriculture Consultant at DJL Agriculture Ltd. The consultant will be responsible for providing expert advice on sustainable agriculture practices, agronomy to clients along with Livestock & soil nutrition plans. Day-to-day tasks include conducting farm assessments, developing personalised recommendations, and implementing strategies for improved productivity and environmental sustainability.

• Agriculture and Agronomy skills

Whilst BASIS & FACTS qualifications are great to have, first and foremost you need to be a reliable and confident communicator, who is able support and guide growers in the technical and regulatory aspects of crop production. Specific training will be provided as required to help you achieve your highest potential.

It is essential that your attention to detail and ability to self-manage a high workload is of the highest standard. Although working alone is a necessary part of the role, you will need to demonstrate that you can work as part of a team and carry out jobs which involve other parts of the business when necessary.

We are looking for a Regenerative Farming Specialist with a competency in soils and in particular soil health. This full time, permanent role offers a mixture of hybrid home and office working, depending on experience. Knowledge of soil health and soil biology is essential.

1. Provide comprehensive agronomy guidance to clients
2. Develop and implement crop protection strategies
3. Offer nutrient management and soil fertility consultancy
4. Adapt recommendations based on changing field conditions

Are you passionate about supporting sustainable agriculture?

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Nutrient Management Planner to join our Team, working closely to deliver tailored nutrient management plans for our valued farming customers.

1. Produce accurate and compliant Nutrient Management Plans (NMPs) promptly.
2. Conduct soil sampling using our UTV sampling machine and gather on-farm data to inform recommendations
3. Collaborate with the Team Leader to achieve agreed objectives.
4. Maintain effective communication with customers, responding to emails and completing administrative tasks as required.
5. Undertake additional tasks and projects
6. Ensure your work practices align with health, safety, and wellbeing standards.
7. What We’re Looking For at DJL Agriculture Ltd

Certification is essential for this role.

Knowledge and experience of soil sampling and farm data collection is ideal, but not essential for this role.

Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office) and exceptional attention to detail for accurate planning and documentation.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

An excellent communicator who can build rapport with customers and colleagues.
